Union Plastic was seeking a solution to deliver easy remote access to to TSE virtual desktops, with high levels of security and availability.
The Virtual Browser solution Union Plastic chose the Virtual Browser by commonIT over traditional VPN-based remote access solutions to answer their needs. The IT service issued Virtual Browser client software to the remote workers (on USB keys and as Windows and Mac installation packages). The Virtual Browser client opens an authenticated, encrypted SSL connection to the Virtual Browser appliance hosting the RDP clients. The appliance is hosted on a VMware ESX platform.
Why Virtual Browser? Union Plastic chose the Virtual Browser solution because it offered significant guarantees in terms of security at lower cost.
